Reagan is 5 months old and she is growing like a weed! I can't believe it. She is now learning to master the art of sitting. We are all doing great up here in Ogden. I love being able to stay home with Reagan-it's the best thing I could ask for!

Warner Happenings

Well I realized that since getting the blog started I haven't really posted an update on us... So here it is. (By the way, I know I am still missing a few email addresses so if you realize anyone's missing let me know!)

Here's a picture of Jack for Lory. :)
Things are good with us... summer has been busy but fun. Dustin graduated in May and is taking a year off before starting his Masters next fall. Jack just turned 15 months old and is the joy and center of lives. He does a good job at fulfilling that role. He's a busy boy but super good natured and keeps us laughing every day. He LOVES fruit... if you couldn't tell from the picture. I'm working about 4 hours a week at the doctors' office I've been at for the past 5 years. It's a good out for me and has worked out well. I also started teaching dance again to 3 and 4 year olds last week. That's a lot of work but good money! So we stay busy but things are great.

I'm glad everyone is posting! I think we should get more pictures up here...
Thanks for writing, Lory. This will be such fun if I can get others to contribute. We as a family need to stay in touch with each other more and this is such a great way to do it. Come on, let's hear from more of you. Mom

OOPS, I forgot to shrink it, sorry all I will do better next time. Take care, Lory

Hi to everyone

Hi all. Thanks so much Katie for getting this blog up and going for the family. It is a great idea and hopefully we can keep it going. I will try to contribute as much as my limited vision will allow. Please excuse me if I use a larger font since I can't see small text. I will try to use a bigger font when I am typing then shrink it down to a smaller size when I post.

I know that my family has really missed out on having family around and staying in touch with everyone has been hard. I still have not seen Jack or Regan (sp) in person.

I will take this chance to catch you all up on a few things that has been going on with our family.

Jessica has broken her foot again. Last year we were getting Josh signed up for Intermediate school and Jess decided to do some cartwheeles. She was doing them hard and fast and it was a cememt floor. She ended up getting a fracture in the growth plate of her right ankle & was in a cast for about 7 weeks which was not fun for a girl that has as much energy as Jess does. It was a huge boot cast so she was able to take it off when she wanted or to sleep at night. The problem is, that it also allowed her to not wear it when she ran to the bathroom or wanted to go out and play without her cast. It seems to have left her ankle a little weaker than it should be. However as we learned it was just a sign to come as she had a very hard year medically.

So a few days ago she was playing some sport at school. Jess loves to play sports and she is good at everything, including playing football with the boys. Anyway, I went to get her at school and she was unable to walk on her foot, so after some discussion I decided to take her to an emergency care. X-rays showed a bone chip in her ankle which was in an area that was not good. So they put a 1/2 cast on her and said to get her in to an orthopedic ASAP. I called the Dr that use to be in our ward and who will be doing surgery on both my knees in a couple weeks. He got her right in and re-did the x-rays which confirmed a bone chip. This time he put her in a hard cast because as he explained that it would be a bad thing to have her walking on it and have that chip move. If that happens or if it doesn't heal, it will require surgery to put the chip back in her foot with a screw/pin. Ok so imagine if you will, a young very active girl ( oh did I mention that she is taking Karate/mixed martial arts and is very very good at it) now in a hard cast in the hot weather. She was actually kind of excited to get it put on so everyone could sign her cast, but it has only taken a couple days for her to now be saying " GET THIS THING OFF OF ME". The Dr said he wants to re-xray in 10 days so she will probbly get it off then and we will see how the chip is doing. She will still have to be in some sort of cast for another 4-5 weeks after the re-xray. We are hoping for the best as I really don't want her to have to have a screw/pin in her ankle at this young age. Oh did I mention that the same day Jess got hurt that Josh had crashed on his scooter on the way to the bus stop at 6:45 in the morning. He went to school but called me to come get him during 1st period. His knee was a bloody mess. I was due in Physical Therapy so he had to come with me. It was really one of those days that just seemd to have everything go wrong.

Anyway, I'll try to keep posting and let you know how she is doing. Also, grandma wants me to share with you all the adventure we had at the Grand Canyon last weekend. It is a long story and I can't do it all right now so let me just say this. Google Earth Grand Canyon Bar 10 Ranch or go to www.bar10ranch.com Don't pay to much attention to the ranch for now, just look at the surrounding area in paticular the end of the road that goes past the ranch that goes to the edge of the Grand Canyon. Then when you are looking at that 1000 ft drop, think micro burst and flash flooding :) I will give you the details another time.

Hope you all are well, Lory
By the way, does anyone want Great grandma Zina Armatage's old hutch. It is well over 100 years old. Would like to see it stay in the family.
Hi, All--We had a great time in Alaska. Stayed in fun places and drove all over the place. We are really anxious to have more participation in the family blog. Thanks to Katie, it is up and running, but won't go anywhere without some more participation. So. --- let's hear from you--pictures of our cute kids, activities, etc. Old and young, please give us you news. Love you all, Mom

Jr. High

Jr. High has been great! But now the homework waves are starting to hit me! But I will say this...
it is sooo much better than elementary! My 6th grade teachers mislead me. They told me it would be horrible, and that I would hate it...but no...its way easier than the image they put in my head!
