Warren's family

Hi to everyone. I thought I would share some sad news. Warren's brother Mike has been diagnosed with cancer. He has not been feeling well and not able to keep much food down. He thought it was stress from breaking up with his long time girlfriend. She is a nurse and convinced him to go in for a scope yesterday, when he woke up they told him that he had cancer that had started in his upper stomach and gone all the way up. He went back to the Dr today for additional tests and has basically been told to go home and die. He will have a feeding tube put in tomorrow to try to give him a little strength but the outcome is not going to be good. The Dr's say that it is a very agressive form of cancer and say it grew quickly and suspect the cancer is throughout his body. They told him he has about a month to live, depending on how long he can hold out. Warren is devestated as Mike is just 2 years older than he is and has been the brother he has been closest with. My heart breaks for him as he has had so much death in his family. For those that don't know, Warren's oldest brother died when he Warren was about 15 and just after the birth of his second child. Warren's parents both died within 10 months of each other a few years ago. Please keep him in your prayers and make sure that you are all going for your yearly exams and get a checkup if something is not right with you. I can't imagine how sad we would all be if this was happening to one of our siblings or members of the family.

THINGS SOME OF YOU MAY WANT

I have several items that need to be moved out of the house, and not to new house. I have a 7 drawer dresser that is painted coral color that all of our kids used. We bought it when Greg was born. We have the gold nylon covered Lazy Boy rocker that is in the office, in good condition, a wooden tv tray, oak colored wood, the entertainment center that is in the middle downstairs room, a two tiered table table, small, that is currently in the downstairs middle room, and boxes of misc stuff. If any of you are interested, come by soon and get what you can use. There will be more stuff as time goes on, just haven' t gotten to it all yet. Love ya. GmE

Happy New Year

Happy new year to all those we love and claim as family. Had a great holiday, tho missed seeing some of you. For those who do not know, Jon and Steph gave us the huge family picture on the bridge that the photographer has had. Come and see it. It has an honored place above the living room fireplace. Is truly a beautiful site. Wish more of you would contibute to this blog. We do miss hearing from you, and know fun things are happening to you all. Just a few news items, Rachel, Devon and Reagon are moving to Colorado, where Devin will be working now he has graduated Weber. Becca made high honors at Bntlf High, Lory has 5 new tiny white puppies, about as big as mice. We went to see the light show at Willard Bay, and half way through, the power went out. We are scheduled to start the house in St. George in less than two weeks.
